Trent Unruh is a fifth-generation Carson Valley resident and account manager-in-training. He earned his degree in journalism at the Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno where he discovered his passion for writing, public relations, and strategic planning.
Trent interned with the Douglas County Community Relations department and was a marketing assistant at the Carson Valley Visitor’s Authority where he enjoyed writing blog posts about Carson Valley’s past. He transitioned into a communication role at Partnership Douglas County where he helped expand services and worked with many community non-profits.
Trent is a Leadership Douglas County 2020 graduate and enjoys spending time outdoors with his chocolate lab or on the slopes with his snowboard.
