  • Have enough social media experience to understand the differences between social platforms and how to use them
  • Use excellent spelling and grammar skills to avoid confrontations with online grammar police
  • Know how to create compelling visual short stories that resonate with different audiences and stay tightly aligned with the client’s why
  • Be comfortable with the back end of WordPress websites
  • Have experience with creating photos and videos
  • Be excited to learn new marketing platforms and tools
  • Be curious enough to always ask “and then what happens?”

What you’ll do:

  • Work with our Account Executives, Digital Badass and Creative Team to understand and document scope and requirements for new projects
  • Support the design team with basic digital asset creation and management
  • Write and edit copy for department marketing projects such as blog articles, e-mails and social media, etc., as assigned
  • Assist with social media campaigns and presence in social networking sites including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other similar community sites
  • Understand the target audience for each social media account, posting interesting, relevant, and timely content that supports department goals
  • Monitor the impact of social media programs and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in order to make adjustments for maximum results
  • Assist and support senior IPSM leadership and staff with marketing related duties as assigned
  • Assist with referral-based personal-touch marketing
  • Perform other job-related duties or requests as assigned

What we really want:

  • One to three years of social media marketing and writing/editing experience required
  • Advertising, marketing or public relations agency experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Working knowledge of Google Analytics, or other web analytics platforms, as well as marketing and social media monitoring tools, required
  • Senior or recent graduate with Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, or similar line of study desired
